FCB / SIX agency approached Leanle with the request to make the first unofficial mobile application of the Cannes Lions largest creative industry festival held every year in the French city of Cannes.
We were tasked with creating a bespoke mobile app for both iOS and Android platforms. The project; An event interface to track all of the events moderated headlines news, nominations, prizes, and winners.
We also created a fully dedicated comprehensive CMS system that allowed managing the list of nominees and winners, controlling what information from social media should appear in the application, and management of the newsletter and the content of push notifications. A newsletter with information on events accompanying the festival was published twice a day for festival participants and people following festival events. Application users received information about new interesting events by push notifications.
Due to the short time required to carry out the project (30 days), we decided to write the CMS system in the Ruby on Rails framework using the PostgreSQL database, while the mobile application was created using the cross-platform Xamarin framework. FCB / SIX was responsible for the design of the application.
FCB / SIX was most impressed and over the moon with our project turn around.
